My boys gave me this beautiful iron plate plaque for Chrismas this last year. It worked perfectly with my old color scheme, but now...not so much! Not wanting to completely change the gift they picked out for me, I only changed the colors that conflicted with my new scheme.

I got out my craft paints and did trial and error until it looked just so getting rid of the reds and oranges. I'm pleased with the finished results and the boys like to new colors!

I'm so glad you're back!! The plates look so pretty painted there new colors! I just got permission from my son to paint a present he gave me too. I was so relieved that he wasn't upset when I asked him!
